Appeal Letter From President:

A humble appeal for helping hand in the cause of
                Educational Service

We would like to take this opportunity, to introduce our organization ጐANA FRIENDS CIRCLE䯠 you.

Our Organization is a Charitable Educational organization established in the year 1966, registered as 墬ic Charitable Trust室er Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950. We are providing selfless services in the field of Education for the last 44 years in ULHASNAGAR, by providing free of cost books to the needy and economically backward class of students without any distinction of caste, creed and religion. The books are being provided from Std. XIth to Post Graduation level of all the faculties i.e. Science, Commerce and Arts, Information Technology, Engineering (Mechanical, Automobile), Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications and Law Books.

We were inspired by the Late Shri Takandas H. Kataria, a well known philanthropist and freedom fighter. A small library in a very small rented room in Ulhasnagar-2 was started in the year 1966. Since then with the help of philanthropists, well wishers and friends like you, we progressed in this field and today we are providing these services to poor students from our own building situated at above noted address free of cost. We have also started a separate wing of library as a ⥥ Circulating Libraryനrough which we provide guides, notes, magazines and general knowledge and current affairs books to the needy students. During current academic year 2009-10, we could provide these services to about 600 students.

For raising the funds required to run these activities, we organize Charity fund raising programs every 2/3 years. Well known personalities such as late Shri Nari Gursahani, Late Barrister Shri Hotchand Advani and Prof. Ram Panjwani etc happened to be our chief guests.  S/Shri Ram Jethmalani , Kishinchand Shahani , lachhmandas Mankani , Sanmukhdas Israni Ex. MLA, Sitaldas Harchandani Ex.MLA ,Swami Shanti Prakash, Swami Dev Prakash Maharaj have attended our programmes and encouraged and blessed our organization.  Shri Pappu (Suresh) Kalani Ex.MLA and Shri Kumar Ailani , present MLA are kind enough to visit the office premises of our circle from time to time to inspire our members and to give their valuable advices with their helping hands to improve the services to the poor and needy students.

Recently due to change of syllabuses in many standards and also due to introduction of many new courses in the colleges e.g. BMS, MBA, IT Sector etc, and cost of the books being escalating very high, many funds are the need of the hour to cope with the additional financial burden. From our well wishers your name has been emerged out as a ⩥nd in need鮠the service of education. We therefore would like to make a humble request to your honor to extend your helping hand by giving generous donations, to encourage us in this noble cause of providing the services to the students to bright their future.

The donations to our trust are exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. Account Payee cheques may please be issued in the favor of ጐANA FRIENDS CIRCLEӯB A/c No.  004510210000007 Bank of India, Dst. Thane(M.S.)India
 Thanking You,           Yours Faithfully,

                NANDLAL MAKHIJA                                        BALRAM SONI
                PRESIDENT                                                         HON.GENRAL SECRETARY
